Rule of the American billiards

American billiard balls The game of American billiards is played with 16 balls, 15 numbered and 1 white. The total points are equal to 120. The winning player is the one with the highest number of points when all the balls have disappeared from the game.

Game

A – The numbered balls are placed in a triangle placed in the middle of the billiard table. Each half of the triangle must contain the same total of points. The white ball is placed in the middle of the width, about 10 cm from the edge of the billiard table opposite to the top of the triangle.

B – The game is played with 2 or 4 people. Each person or team chooses their side of play. Each person plays in turn using the white ball to send the numbered balls in the chosen holes.

C – The player who, by means of the white ball, sends one or more numbered balls in one of his holes, realizes as many points as the sum of the numbered balls and can thus continue the game.

D – In the case where the white ball goes into the hole, we take the ball with the lowest number remaining on the carpet to replace the ball and so on.

E – If the numbered ball replacing the white ball goes in a hole, the points of this ball go to the favor of the opponent.

F – In the case where this ball comes out of the billiard, the same rule as in paragraph E is applied.

G – In the case where the white ball does not touch any ball, the opponent has the right to take it and place it halfway between the edge of the billiard and the ball that he wants to play.

H – If the player simultaneously sends the white ball and a numbered ball in a hole, he loses the points of the numbered ball, which go in favor of the opponent, then the latter plays by adopting the paragraph G. I – The last ball is played front band (touch a strip before returning the ball). The player who enters it directly loses the game.

Rule of the game of French billiards

French billiard balls and carom billiards The game is played with 3 balls: 1 red ball and 2 white balls including 1 white ball pointed.

Each player chooses 1 white ball. Number of players: 1 or 2.

Goal of the game: the player must touch with his ball, at the same time, the other 2 balls.

IN DISCIPLINE 1 BAND: 1 band must be touched at least before the third ball, there is no order imposed for balls to touch.

IN THE DISCIPLINE 2 BANDS: 2 bands must be touched at least before the third ball, there is no order imposed for the balls to touch.


IN THE DISCIPLINE 3 BANDS: 3 bands must be touched at least before the third ball, there is no order imposed for the balls to touch.

Loss of turn: the player loses his turn when he has not scored, that is to say, did not succeed in touching the other 2 balls with the number of passages to the chosen band.

Counting points: each player is entitled to the same number of times, one point per shot succeeded.

In case of a tie, the game is declared void.

The number of points to be made is officially 60-120 or 200 points, depending on the chosen discipline.
